Lindsey Joyce Chamberlain, PhD serves as Assistant Dean for Academic Enrichment in the College of Arts and Sciences and as Director of the Honors Program. In this role, she leads the strategic direction of the Honors program and provides strategic leadership across the teams and managers who support the Honors program, Scholars programs, Global Education, Undergraduate Research, and Scholarship and Student Engagement.
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Lindsey earned her undergraduate degree from DePauw University before completing both her MA and PhD in Sociology at The Ohio State University, where her research focused on organizational health and processes. Prior to her current role, she served as Assistant Director for University Honors and Scholars, where she spearheaded assessment efforts across all honors programs.
Favorite part of work:
I am continually amazed by the students I work with and all they accomplish during their time at Ohio State. I also deeply value the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated colleagues who are committed to supporting student success, and I enjoy the energy and opportunities that come from working on such a vibrant campus.
Fun facts:
I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, working out, art, fashion, live music, and hiking - and I recently started cross-country skiing.
I have two daughters and two stepsons who attend Ohio State.
I have two dogs.
