David Swearingen is an Academic Advisor in the Arts and Sciences Honors Program who works primarily with Biological Sciences students. He received his B.A. in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Indiana University in 2019 and his M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Mississippi in 2021. David previously worked in Aquatics, where he ran Swimming and Diving Championships for the Big Ten in 2019 and SEC in 2021, as well as other high profile meets.

In his spare time, David loves walking his dog, coaching, reading, and finding new shows/movies to watch!
