Samantha Zimmerman is a teacher and advisor originally from Indianapolis, Indiana.  She earned dual bachelor's degrees in History and Education, and a M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership with a concentration in Special Education, all from the University of Dayton.  Samantha comes to Ohio State with nine years of teaching experience in high schools located in Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and Chicago.  While teaching history, she came to realize her true passion is the advising and counseling side of education.  She is excited to switch roles from helping high school students get accepted into college, to advising college students throughout their time at university and through graduation.  In her free time, she likes to read historical fiction, play piano, and try new foods.
